Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Membership Compliance Data Analyst to combine strong data analytics expertise with regulatory compliance management. This role focuses on supporting membership growth through the enforcement of waste management regulations and maintaining effective relationships with local authorities. The successful candidate will manage data-driven compliance efforts and produce actionable insights that support both internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Data Analytics: Gather, analyse, and interpret data to inform membership recruitment strategies and ensure regulatory compliance. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with Waste Enforcement Regional Lead Authorities (WERLAs) and Local Authority Enforcement Officers to support compliance and membership growth. Enforcement Policy Management: Implement and manage the enforcement policy, ensuring compliance with waste management regulations. Reporting: Produce monthly and quarterly reports on enforcement activities for both internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration: Work closely with the membership and recruitment teams to resolve open enforcement cases and contribute to overall membership growth strategies. Process Development: Establish procedural controls that enhance the implementation of enforcement policies and improve data accuracy. Training & Education: Provide annual training for local authority enforcement officers on compliance procedures. Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in data analytics within a regulatory or compliance-focused environment or environmental sustainability sector. They should be able to communicate complex data insights in a way that is actionable for stakeholders. Essential Skills and Experience: Prior experience working with local authorities or in a regulatory/compliance environment within the EU. Knowledge of packaging regulations and relevant environmental legislation is essential. Desirable to have previous experience working towards environmental sustainability goals (ESG). A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Environmental Science, or Compliance. Minimum of 3 years experience in data analytics. Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience in data interpretation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain data insights in a clear and practical manner. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics, Office, and Power Apps. Self-motivated with strong organisational and planning skills.
