Jigsaw Seeks Part-Time Mental Health & Wellbeing Clinical Lead (Schools)

Jigsaw is seeking a part-time Mental Health & Wellbeing Clinical Lead (Schools) to join our team on a fixed-term, 3-year basis. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Mental Health Promotion Team to develop and implement a 3-year programme of work to provide wellbeing and mental health supports for post-primary schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a range of relevant content, courses, training and resources for post-primary schools.
  • Ensure that all materials and resources are accurate, engaging and inclusive, and aligned with Jigsaw's Conceptualisation of Mental Health.
  • Stay current with national and international research and evidence in wellbeing and youth mental health education, promotion and training.
  • Contribute to the development of an annual work plan for Jigsaw's work with schools, identifying actions, deliverables and annual KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' full-time or equivalent experience working in a mental health service or setting.
  • Knowledge and experience of applying evidence-informed mental health knowledge and skills to support young people's mental health.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise a complex programme of work, and to work to tight deadlines.
