Job Description

Seeking a MEP Construction Supervisor for a large-scale Pharmaceutical Construction project in Co. Dublin, with a focus on safety, quality, and coordination.

PM Group is an employee-owned, international project delivery firm with a team of 3,500+ people, delivering complex projects in various sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and health of all persons working on or visiting the site, promoting compliance with safety plans and intervening in unsafe situations.
  • Complete a minimum of five SOR's and three SPA audits each week, participating in weekly safety audits as required.
  • Review contractors' method statements, SPAs, and permit applications, providing feedback to ensure risks are assessed and control measures are in place.
  • Participate in weekly Safety/Coordination meetings, ensuring work is coordinated with the commissioning team during the turnover phase.
  • Monitor day-to-day site activities, ensuring contractors complete their contracts in terms of safety, quality, schedule, cost, and documentation.
  • Participate in morning planning meetings, be aware of output from 4-week lookahead meetings, and provide feedback on weekly coordination meetings.
  • Monitor the implementation of contractors' Quality plans, carrying out daily inspections to ensure required standards are achieved.
  • Keep the CM & QA/QC manager informed on all quality matters, advising on potential deviations from IFC documentation and ensuring approved changes are implemented.
  • Complete a minimum of one specific inspection daily, recording in the QIR report, and liaise with the Construction Superintendent and material Controller on free-issue equipment deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Degree educated or very strong trades' background.
  • At least 10 years' experience in the Construction Sector on live sites.
  • Significant LOTO and supervision experience.
  • Mission Critical or Life Science projects essential.
