Job Title: Cost Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team of 50 people in our niche practice area within KPMG Construction Advisory. The successful candidate will assist in managing the 'day to day' operations of projects, including feasibility studies, cost planning, and tendering. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management, a strong understanding of various project types, and excellent communication and numeracy skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in feasibility studies and procurement reports
* Estimate and cost plan, producing and presenting the final cost plan
* Produce full quantities measure, tender, and procure, managing the pre-qualification stage
* Deal with post-contract cost variances and change control processes
* Take personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects
* Ensure timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place
