Data Centre Design Manager
As an experienced Design Manager, you will work on exciting Data Centre projects while utilising innovative processes to ensure the highest possible efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure design management procedures are followed and implemented on projects, including production and maintenance of design records, schedules, and documentation.
- Take ownership of design-related items during the tender process and construction phase, producing written narrative and presentation materials as needed.
- Select and appoint the design team, including consultants and subcontractors, and oversee their work.
- Understand and provide solutions for strategic design items within tender/construction documents, in line with company procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Desirable experience in CDE, BIM, and planning software, as well as sustainability accreditation and health & safety training.
- Understanding of building regulations, planning permission, and PSDP procedures.
- Good communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
