Your new companyFounded more than 45 years ago, this established and experienced Building Services Contractor are specialists in delivering Mechanical, Electrical, Ventilation and Air Conditioning solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to impressive bid success and an increased secure workload, they are currently seeking a MEP Pre-Construction Manager to oversee large scale projects in the UK / ROI. Your new roleThis is an opportunity for an M&E Pre-Contract, Commercial biased professional to expand their skills and take a unique step forward within this highly successful company. Responsibilities: Management of Building Services Design process to ensure deliverables are produced on schedule and budgetAdvise on the selection of materials and other aspects of procurementEngagement with key specialist subcontractors to facilitate completion of designEnsure design compliant with current legislation, standards and codes of practiceEngage with the commercial and estimating teams to brief them on the agreed scope of works for each schemeEngage with the client to discuss and review proposals to ensure they meet with client expectationsIdentify and action potential risks, opportunities and hazards What you'll need to succeedEssential Criteria: Experience managing M&E large-scale contractsPrevious experience in a similar role or from an MEP Consultancy backgroundExcellent attention to detail and effective communicator.Experience and understanding of multi-disciplinary design processes and design coordinationGood commercial understanding of the Pre-Contract tender process.Experienced user of MS Office suite.
