Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of the commercial and construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, managing risk, and maximizing commercial returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing tenders, analyzing, and finalizing contracts
- Managing and supporting the commercial team
- Coordinating package submissions for tendering, payment applications, and cash flows
- Managing procurement of major packages
- Reviewing and approving documentation prepared by juniors
- Attending meetings with subcontractors and clients
- Managing risk and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
Requirements:
- Commercial appreciation and experience in adjudication and dispute resolution
- Leadership and delegation skills
- Legal appreciation and overview of industry trends
- Presentation and communication skills
