The Role:
We are seeking an MEP senior/cost consultant for our Dublin office.
The successful candidate will take a lead role in delivering cost consultancy services for a key client, reporting to the account director on unique projects in high-profile occupied buildings.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing cost plans and estimates
Undertaking procurement from start to finish, including tender documentation
Managing work packages post-contract, including change control and valuation
Providing crisp and focused cost advice and reporting to clients
Conducting tender analysis for contractor appointments and data capture
Maintaining effective communication and liaising with managers for efficient financial control
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' technical delivery experience
Pre- and post-contract experience, including cost planning and procurement
Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills
Leadership experience and ability to take on a leading role
Organized, diligent, proactive, and commercially astute
Electrical experience and knowledge of Mechanical
Competent in Cost X or similar billing of MEP services
Good communication and command of English language
Experience working with the Electrical Industry in Ireland
Estimating and change control post-contract experience
Data Centre experience is a plus, but not essential for the right candidate
