The Role Legend is currently hiring for a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst, reporting to the Head of M&A and Corporate Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing targets, filling the pipeline, completing domain acquisitions, building financial models and helping manage our live deal processes. Your Impact:Conduct thorough industry research and analysis to identify promising acquisition targets, offering insights into their financial performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.Collaborate with the Principal M&A Lead to streamline due diligence processes and manage deal activities effectively, ensuring smooth progress throughout.Develop robust financial models prioritizing ROI, empowering Legend to make well-informed investment decisions with confidence.Lead the domain acquisition process from strategy formulation to negotiation and execution, liaising with strategy, legal teams, and external brokers to drive successful outcomes.Support senior executives by preparing comprehensive presentations and reports on potential acquisition targets, facilitating informed decision-making at the highest levels.Maintain and update the pipeline management database with accuracy, enabling efficient tracking and management of acquisition opportunities while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.What You’ll Bring:Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant is desired.3+ years experience in an accountant practice is essential.Project management experience, you have the ability to organise and manage a workstream with multiple stakeholders.Financial/excel acumen, ideally you can model out a scenario using P&L numbers on excel.
