Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

As a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst, you'll play a critical role in identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets, developing financial models, and driving deal activities forward.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough industry research and analysis to identify promising acquisition targets, providing insights into their financial performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the Principal M&A Lead to streamline due diligence processes and manage deal activities effectively, ensuring smooth progress throughout.
- Develop robust financial models prioritizing ROI, empowering Legend to make well-informed investment decisions with confidence.
- Lead the domain acquisition process from strategy formulation to negotiation and execution, liaising with strategy, legal teams, and external partners to drive successful outcomes.
- Support senior executives by preparing comprehensive presentations and reports on potential acquisition targets, facilitating informed decision-making at the highest levels.
- Maintain and update the pipeline management database with accuracy, enabling efficient tracking and management of acquisition opportunities while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant with 3+ years of experience in an accountant practice.
- Project management experience, with the ability to organize and manage a workstream with multiple stakeholders.
- Financial/excel acumen, with the ability to model out a scenario using P&L numbers on excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
