Job Description Summary PerkinElmer is seeking a MES (manufacturing equipment systems) Support Analyst to join our growing team at our client site in Raheen. The purpose of the role is to onboard new equipment in the drug manufacturing laboratory of the client and provide users with Level 1 and 2 support for hosted applications. You will be working in a GMP environment with Lab IT and Technical Writers supporting our customer. Growth opportunities include training to become SME providing Tier 3 support in certain applications. Job Responsibilities: Provide Level 1 and 2 support for hosted applications Provide IT Support for manufacturing systems Provisioning users and provide end-user support. Perform IT Ticket Management using systems such as ServiceNow Perform unit testing on the PCs and test software configuration Work with the client administrators for application troubleshooting Coordinate with other support teams within the organization Ensures adherence to client’s corporate policies through periodic reporting and compliance programs Troubleshooting – Assisting with typical/reoccurring errors that users might come across, such as terminal connectivity issues, incorrect user rights, etc. Perform and assist with planning and support activities associated with bringing new process areas on-board throughout the year Printer Management – Setting up printers (Zebra label printers mainly) in the MES Application and assigning them as needed to individual user terminals Terminal Management – Configuring terminals and printers within the MES Application Assist with system configuration and changes as directed by the Team Lead Perform and assist with planning and support activities associated with onboarding new process areas. Critical Skills: Previous experience in a GMP manufacturing environment or similar Health Authority Regulated environment Good writing skills and ability to follow written standard operating procedures (SOP) Excellent customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret and document client requests Previous experience supporting an MES IT environment Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues Competent in Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects under prescribed timeframes Basic Qualifications: Bachelors or Associate degree in Computer Science or technology industry experience OR 2+ years of relevant technical experience including (but not limited to); Windows technologies including Microsoft Office, networking, remote computing, and backup systems. Experience with IT systems management and associated processes such as Active Directory. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic batch recording systems would be a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
