Meter Reader Location:North Leinster Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months) Job Summary: As a Veolia Meter Reader, you will travel throughout a specific region collecting water consumption data from meters. You will be involved in three distinct metering projects, conducting reads through MMR and AMR.
The role involves
- Driving vehicles along established routes to collect consumption data from meters
- Meter reading and entering data onto hand-held devices
- Recording any issues found on site and adding photographic evidence
- Reporting any network concerns or impediments to meter access
- Directing customers to the Uisce Eireann Customer Service Centre for billing queries
- Updating GPS locations for continuous improvement of the network
- Met client deadlines and KPIs
- Continued to meet daily and quarterly read targets
- Ensured continuous improvement of the project by working with the team
- Full Clean Drivers Licence
- Long distance driving experience
- Experience of Water Network Management and/or basic plumbing experience
- Good IT skills for using online systems and GPS equipment
- Organisational skills and route planning
- Time Management
- Good Communication Skills with a positive, innovative and collaborative team player attitude
