Job Description
Collect water consumption data for our client in North Leinster, conducting manual and automated meter readings, and record any issues found on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive vehicles along established routes to collect consumption data from meters
- Read water meters and enter data onto hand-held devices
- Record any issues found on site and add photographic evidence
- Ensure regular uploads of data to enable the project manager and the client to monitor progress
- Report any network concerns such as meter irregularities or impediments to meter access on handheld
- Direct customers to the Uisce Eireann Customer Service Centre in the case of billing queries
- Update GPS locations to ensure continuous improvement of the network
Requirements:
- Full Clean Driver's Licence
- Long distance driving experience
- Experience of Water Network Management and/or basic plumbing experience
- Good IT skills required for using online systems on tablet and handheld together with GPS equipment
- Organisational skills / Route planning
- Time Management (meeting client's deadlines and KPI's)
- A clear understanding of the importance of safety when undertaking Metering Services
- Good Communication Skills with a positive, innovative and collaborative team player attitude
