Job Description
A 12-month contract role as a QC Micro Analyst is available with a leading biotech company in Cork. The candidate must have technical knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory equipment in microbiology, chemistry and biochemistry testing.
The role involves performing microbiology, chemistry and biochemistry testing, data review and approval, and providing support to manufacturing. Specific testing experience is required in bioburden, endotoxin, sterility testing and microbial identification.
A BSc (Honors) in a scientific discipline and at least 2 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry are required. Knowledge of FDA/EMEA regulatory requirements and experience with electronic systems are also essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of microbiology, chemistry or biochemistry testing, rapid turnaround of samples, and data review and approval. They will also provide support and advice to manufacturing, initiate and lead investigations, and complete CAPAs and Change Controls.
