Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect Job Description: Our client is seeking a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect to lead sustainability-focused digital transformation initiatives across various sectors. This role will be integral in developing and implementing technology solutions to drive sustainable growth and efficiency. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong client relationships across multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Food, Materials, Logistics, and Public Sector. Identify and address client issues through strategic meetings and information gathering. Expand and deepen points of contact between the client and our client. Lead the development and execution of relationship strategies to foster Board and Executive-level connections. Coordinate client relationship events and measure ROI through enhanced relationships and opportunities. Originate and deliver client solutions for digital challenges in sales and service functions. Lead the bidding, winning, and delivery of substantial customer and digital transformation engagements. Communicate timely, relevant solutions and ideas to clients, leveraging internal networks. Identify new opportunities and develop targeted plans for client sectors. Enhance sales conversion through rigorous processes, pricing, contracting, and negotiation. Ensure all sales activities align with the client's sales processes and account plans. Drive the introduction and selling of new propositions, collaborating closely with sector leads. Seek opportunities to provide additional value to clients through cross-functional solutions. Maintain an updated sales pipeline through effective opportunity management. Shape and develop clients' sustainability technology transformation roadmaps using alliance partner solutions and emerging platforms. Apply appropriate systems design methods, selecting from predictive or adaptive approaches as needed. Conduct impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs during engagements. Review system designs to ensure appropriate technology selection, resource efficiency, and system integration. Balance functional and non-functional requirements in system design. Contribute to the development of systems design policies and standards. Lead solution architecture development for client proposals, assets, and business domains. Manage and develop Senior Managers and Managers within the team, coaching and guiding them to their full potential. Focus on personal and team development through continuous performance reviews and career conversations. Lead project teams as the Engagement/Delivery Lead, maximising performance and project outcomes. Experience Required: Minimum of 5-8 years in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical architecture. Extensive experience in sustainability digital transformation, leveraging leading technology platforms and ecosystems. Experience managing digital transformation projects in areas such as carbon accounting, net zero, ESG reporting, and supply chain. Proficiency in providing solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Sustainability Cloud, Microsoft Sustainability Manager, Microsoft Fabric, and Power Platform. Strong background in developing solution architecture for comprehensive consulting programmes. Proven ability to lead bid teams and shape winning proposals. Ability to articulate the value of sustainability technology and emerging technologies to non-technical audiences. Experience facilitating requirements gathering workshops and translating functional requirements into technical solutions. Solid understanding of design thinking and agile methodologies. Strong people management, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Education Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Benefits: Hybrid options available.
