Microsoft Solutions Architect Contract Type: 6-Month Contract Location: Dublin 24 (Hybrid) Rate: Competitive Day Rate Start Date: October 2024 Eligibility: Candidates must possess an Irish/EU passport or a full, valid work permit. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join a Digital Transformation Project. The successful candidate will work with the project team and suppliers to ensure the delivery of a solution that meets business requirements and aligns with IT strategy, security standards, and technical architecture. This is a full-time role for six months, with potential for extension, requiring a combination of on-site and remote work. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical advice on solution architecture, systems integration, and solution implementation. Collaborate with vendors to validate and ensure the successful architecture, design, and deployment of the new solution. Ensure the claims solution meets technical standards in terms of security, scalability, and performance. Ensure comprehensive technical documentation is provided for project deliverables. Align solutions with approved methodologies, IT strategies, and enterprise architecture standards. Offer architectural direction on security, application, infrastructure, and DevOps for the project. Facilitate collaboration between the implementation vendor and third-party vendors for system integrations. Ensure readiness for operational management of the solution post go-live. Lead and support the project in maintaining architectural consistency and quality. Engage stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and refine project plans. Technical Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, specifically Customer Service. 5+ years of architecture design experience. 2+ years of experience with Power Apps, Pages, Portal, Azure DevOps, Dataverse, and Datalake. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and similar technologies. Experience with large-scale system implementations and data migration projects. Desired Characteristics: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage project priorities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen. Collaborative team player with attention to detail and quality output delivery. Self-motivated, with a positive and agile mindset.
