Seeking a skilled Security or IP routing and switching engineer with CCNP or Fortinet NSE 7 certification to manage projects, troubleshoot technical incidents, and provide support for enterprise customers in Ireland.
This is a unique opportunity to join a successful Systems Integrator delivering IP Services to many enterprise customers in Ireland, taking full ownership of projects relating to the design and delivery of our clients' core and customer-facing networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for all reported incidents.
- Liaise with manufacturer TAC support teams during customer incidents.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience troubleshooting technical incidents in Cisco and/or Fortinet environments.
- Cisco ISE, Firepower, Wireless and DNAC experience.
- Cisco Routing and Switching experience.
- Fortinet fortigate, fortManager, fortianalyzer experience.
- Cisco CCNP and Fortinet NSE4 qualifications requirement.
- Previous experience delivering networking and security solutions to customers in Cisco and Fortinet environments.
- Practical experience of common routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and ISIS.
- Familiarity with MPLS technologies (both Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with customers/other departments and management.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
