Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Manager to provide operational support to Institutional clients engaged in various investment strategies.

Our team serves nearly $45 trillion in managed assets, providing a range of services including trade processing, trade matching, reconciliations, collateral, and settlements.
As an Associate Manager, you will have an existing operations background of one or more of the core MO services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing operational support to Institutional clients, including banks, insurance companies, pension providers, asset management companies, and fund managers engaged in various investment strategies.
- Building and maintaining client relationships, acting as a liaison between clients and prime brokers/counterparties.
- Providing middle and back office support for various financial products, including equities, fixed income, swaps, bank debt, and derivatives.
- Addressing and researching cash/position/MV reconciliation exceptions.
- Interacting with internal SSC GlobeOp departments, including Fund Accounting, Loan Admin, OTC Operations, Valuations, Investor Services, and IT.
- Processing wire related to derivative and other trade-related cash-flows, management fees, incentive fees, fund subscriptions, and redemptions.
- Reviewing work prepared by others, including cash reports and confirming payments with counterparties.
- Training operations staff.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in business or finance.
- 4+ years of experience in back office operations, working for a prime broker, administrator, hedge fund, mutual fund, investment advisor, or financial/retirement planner.
- Prior experience with various financial products, including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, derivatives, mortgages, and options.
- Expert to intermediate Excel knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
