Seeking an ambitious mixed veterinary surgeon with leadership experience to lead a busy midland-based hospital as Clinical Director.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our team as a Clinical Director. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a wide range of opportunities for professional growth and development.
The hospital is a 50/30/20 split of small, large, and equine cases, with all the usual equipment and facilities. As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for leading the practice in delivering the highest level of care to clients and their animals.
The role involves overseeing the general running of the practice, with a focus on large animal cases. You will work closely with our team and Area Support Manager to develop and lead the clinic's direction, and will have the opportunity to develop your interests and put your own personal stamp on the practice.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, be a personable and effective communicator, and have leadership and management knowledge or experience. Some experience in management would be preferred, but the role would also suit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to step up and progress in their career.
