Overview We are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Chiller/Air Conditioner Service Engineer to maintain and repair client’s equipment for some of the UK’s leading providers of logistics and maintenance services to the mobile and static medical industry. We’re looking for trade qualified refrigeration/ air conditioning engineers with f-gas and up to date safe pass that are experienced with chillers, air conditioning, electrical and mechanical repairs. We are looking to bring on board a customer-focused Mobile Service Engineer based in the midlands to work throughout the Midlands (Westmeath, Offaly, Laois, Longford). The engineer will, at times, be required to work away from home, with hotels provided. This role will be working a contracted 50 hour week (including a one hour unpaid lunch break per day), Monday to Friday, with overtime available for weekdays and weekends, however the successful applicant will be working an out of hours on a call rota system, which will be rewarded with an on call allowance plus hourly pay when required to go out to a breakdown. The Role The postholder will be involved in the installation, service and repair of mobile medical trailers. There will also be involvement in installations, servicing and repairs at Hospital & Medical Centres. They will be expected to carry out minor repairs from changing locks and light bulbs to major repairs and/or testing of electrical equipment. This position involves the engineer to think outside the box and to be able to tackle some of the tasks assigned to them head on, as well as completing any additional task(s) the clients/staff may ask for whilst the engineer is on site. We are also expected to service the mobile trailer generators, which the successful applicant will get training in by an experienced engineer. All tasks must be carried out whilst ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times. You will be supplied with a company Credit Card, Van & Fuel Card for use during working hours. Qualifications Suitable candidates will have worked in a service engineering role, Level 6 trade qualification, qualified in F-Gas and have an up to date safe pass. Electrical qualification would be advantageous. Salary 45,000.00 - 50,000.00 Euro's per year dependant upon experience and qualifications.
