Mortgage Assessor/Administrator
Support the Mortgage Manager in a busy financial brokerage, processing and managing the mortgage pipeline from enquiry to cheque issue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the mortgage application process & pipeline, building relationships with clients and external contacts.
- Professionally liaise with customers & lenders, answering phone calls and emails in a streamlined mortgage process.
- Package and submit mortgage applications to lenders, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and Central Bank Codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records / notes on the broker application system.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the team's success.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years mortgage experience in a mortgage brokerage/mortgage lender.
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage process, lender criteria and experience of the application and closing documents requirements.
- Accountability for commitments to clients, customers and stakeholders.
- Strong relationship building skills, results focused with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a team environment.
Qualifications:
- QFA or APA Mortgages and working toward QFA.
- Third level financial/mathematical or business related qualification preferable.
Skills:
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS office suite, DocuSign and online mortgage application systems.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines.
