Motor Product Pricing Analyst / Dublin West
Our client is a highly reputable motor company seeking a Motor Product Pricing Analyst to join their team. Salary: Neg doe plus benefits.
The role:
- Analyse and monitor the market and the competitive position of products.
- Regular focus on price index position and product specification.
- Pro-actively making recommendations on the brand's competitive position and reporting findings to Product Planning Manager.
- Managing projects which may include but not limited to autonomous driving, E-mobility, connected services and assist in all new product launches and life cycle strategies.
- Delivering new product information to dealer partners in conjunction with the Training Academy.
- Providing accurate and timely reports on competitor activity and industry trends.
- Monitoring and analyzing the market changes and competitive activities.
- Attending and participating in all dealer/training/customer events when required.
- Assisting in producing product guides, brochures and other communications.
- Operating all systems, including Jato dynamics and vehicle distribution.
- Regular communication with the factory & dealer network to ensure production and pricing queries are answered.
- Provide product support and expertise for vehicles and other assigned product areas.
- Provide a high standard of dealership and customer support and car transportation logistics to ensure excellent product delivery.
- Ensuring accuracy of all car orders on the global ordering system and car configurator.
- Working with Marketing to translate technical detail into logical communication.
- Ensuring accuracy of all product related publications for internal and external users and that process/systems are maintained to satisfy all shareholder interests.
The Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the industry ideally specialising in product and pricing.
- Degree in Business or related field.
- Strong numeracy and analytical capability, with a high degree of factual accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of the Irish car market.
- Passion for industry and general automotive product is essential with an ability to demonstrate "ownership" for selected models/projects.
- Experience using Jato analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Advanced computer literacy in MS Office, and ability to learn specific systems.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable and flexible to changing technologies, processes and environments.
- Track record of project management experience and ability to work to deadlines.
