We want you to succeed in Sanofi and you will be actively supported and mentored throughout the programme. MSAT play a vital role in the support of Sanofi Waterford and the wider Sanofi network. As experts in the product, process and analytical technologies, MSAT are called upon to support the introduction of new products to site, drive life cycle management activities to improve our processes and support site investigations to ensure the supply of life saving medication to our patients. Our MSAT graduate programme consists of three rotations, each one in a different area: Manufacturing Sciences, Manufacturing Technologies & Industrialisation and Analytical Sciences. As well as working side by side with experienced team members and participating in projects and day to day team activities, you will also receive training designed to help you develop soft skills in a range of areas such as: presentation and communication skills, emotional intelligence, influencing and leadership skills. We support a variety of corporate and social responsibility activities, and all Graduates participate in the Junior Achievement programme with local schools during the programme. The programme starts in September 2025 and last 2 years. Main responsibilities: During the Manufacturing Sciences rotation you will be working within the MSAT laboratory with the Manufacturing Sciences team supporting the Lyophilisation Centre of Excellence for the Sanofi network. Within the state-of-the-art MSAT laboratory you will support the introduction of new products and technology transfers to Sanofi Waterford and the wider Sanofi network. You will work as a member of a cross functional team to support site investigations and deviations. In the MSAT laboratory you will gain a comprehensive understanding of lyophilisation through the use of our small scale lyophilisers, you will learn all about the products using state of the art protein characterisation and solid-state analysis techniques. You will learn the tools to build your foundations for working within the pharmaceutical industry and start your journey as a valuable member of the MSAT team. During the Manufacturing Technologies and Industrialisation rotation, you will build on the work done in the MSAT laboratory and take technology transfer and new product introduction onto the commercial line. You will support the introduction of new products to the commercial area, learning about complex technology transfer projects. You will learn about the requirements to make changes to validated processes in the support of lifecycle management activities to increase the efficiency of the manufacturing of commercial products. You will also support the resolution of complex manufacturing deviations and investigations. During the Analytical Sciences rotation, you will work as part of the Analytical MSAT team in both their newly built state of the art Analytical Laboratory and the Quality Control laboratory. In this rotation you will learn how to execute the validation activities of complex analytical methods for biopharmaceuticals. You will support analytical transfers for new products supporting new product introduction programs, working as part of a cross functional project team. Additionally, you will be learning to support analytical investigations, troubleshooting and optimizations of the analytical methods and support the wider MSAT analytical team. You will get experience in development of analytical methods as part of the innovation program initiative within the MSAT Analytical group. About you Graduated in the past two years or due to graduate in 2025. A minimum 2.1 Primary Degree or Masters in Pharmaceutical Science, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology. Relevant work experience which can be cumulative, i.e., internship/work placement. The same sort of values as we do as well as a passion for healthcare. Demonstrated a record of a high level of performance and delivery. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Be a self-starter with the determination to succeed. Possess a record of high achievement and delivery. Ability to work in a team and on own initiative. Excellent leadership and communication skills. An analytical approach to problem solving. If you meet the above criteria, we will ask you to attend a video interview. This will be sent online, and you will be asked to record your answers using either a mobile, tablet or computer. If you pass this stage a member of our recruitment team will conduct a telephone interview with you. The final stage of the process will be for you to attend an assessment centre in November. You will be given the opportunity to meet some of your potential colleagues and managers whilst also learning a little more about what Sanofi is all about. The day will involve group activities and interview. We are only holding 1 assessment centre, therefore you will need to ensure you are able to commit to attending this date before you apply to this role. Assessment centre date 20th November 2024.
