Job Description
We are seeking ambitious and career-orientated individuals to work in a new workshop in Dublin 12. Future-proof yourself in the motor trade through training and development in a fast-paced dealership.
We are looking to fast-track our technicians through training and HV training to provide our customers with exceptional service.
The ideal candidate will be based in our Dublin 12 site, experienced in vehicle servicing and diagnostics, and capable of producing high-quality work in a busy environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing work with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and brand standards.
- Communicating with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Diagnosing cause of any malfunction and performing repair after confirmation by customer.
- Saving and tagging parts if the job is under warranty or requested by customer.
- Examining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks.
- Notifying service advisors of additional work needed.
- Keeping abreast of MG technical bulletins and attending factory-sponsored training classes.
Requirements include:
- A qualified technician, ideally working with multiple brands.
- Ability to complete job card write-ups with factory standards for warranty write-ups.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain additional work required.
- Previous experience in engine/transmission repairs would be an advantage.
