Vacancy Description : The Music Production/IT and Theatre Support Technicianwill work closely with lecturers in music, theatre and audio production/IT and is responsible for the technical, staging and lighting requirements of all the performance spaces on campus. The persons appointed will have technical support expertise in supporting a technically demanding support base for PC / MAC devices , Audio and Music Production and technical theatre. They will have an ability to support imaging, maintaining and trouble-shooting PCs, printers & printing systems. Expertise in building music production systems (analogue and digital), Theatre stage and lighting , maintaining, securing such equipment and troubleshooting is desired. The successful candidate will/be required to support students, academics and administration staff with their Music / Audio / Theatre / IT needs across many areas of the Institute. This post which will occasionally require the appointee to provide technical support for academic activities outside of core hours.
