Role Profile We have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will manage key accounts within the consumer category, developing growth customer plans and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will manage the contracting and execution of budgeted sales volumes & margin achievement, development of new opportunities for value adding and commercialisation of Tirlns growth volumes across a portfolio of accounts.The role will be key in assisting Tirln to expand its consumer portfolio. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic customer account plans to drive sales within the Chilled & Dairy categories across branded and/or own label products. Negotiate and influence commercial processes to agree contracts, JBPs, promotional plans, NPD and share of space across your customer base. Be a champion for the customer, developing cross functional plans and enabling a culture of customer focus across the business. Hold overall responsibility for all agreed customer projects to ensure that they continually exceed customer & internal expectations. Continuously analyse performance and stay ahead of FMCG trends to deliver clear insights and implement necessary actions for change within your set of accounts. Key performance metrics will be NPD listings, distribution optimisation, promotions, product mix, volume, revenue and margin. Ensure communication throughout the business is prompt to ensure all departments are aware of any own label projects that has a wider impact on the business. Ensure administration tasks are fulfilled (pricing, promotions etc.) and financial spends are carefully managed & are within budget. Requirements Experience working with either branded or own label products. Exposure to working with both would be a bonus. Excellent track record of success, growing accounts and relationships. Strong attention to detail, with excellent negotiation, organisation and presentation skills. Track record of managing their own P&L, JBP and promotional activities. Excellent understanding of the domestic retail industry Self-motivated and excellent levels of energy and drive and passion A capacity to act quickly and keep decision making simple, not afraid to make decisions and have a natural curiosity to change. Hybrid working with abilityto commute to the Citywest office at least twice per week.
