Job Title: National Account Manager Location: Dublin Employment Type: Full-Time Company Overview: Our client is a global leader in the foodservice industry, delivering innovative food solutions to chefs and caterers across diverse sectors, including restaurants, hotels, and schools. With a portfolio of renowned brands, we focus on fostering growth and building strong customer relationships through tailored solutions and strategic partnerships. Job Purpose: As a National Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong customer relationships while driving volume growth and achieving financial targets with key trade partners and chain customers (e.g., hotels, workplace catering, QSRs). You will create, negotiate, and implement joint business plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute joint business plans with nominated customers, focusing on growth opportunities and long-term relationships. Manage in-month performance against forecasts, ensuring targets are met. Monitor customer compliance with agreed trade terms; resolve issues and ensure proper implementation. Oversee P&L management, including turnover, business building targets, and accurate forecasting. Handle required administrative tasks such as pricing, rebates, promotional proposals, contracts, and trade terms. Build strong and sustainable relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Continuously identify new business opportunities and optimise the sales funnel. Qualifications and Experience: A degree is preferable but not essential. A proven track record of meeting sales targets, implementing business plans, and nurturing customer relationships. Experience within the foodservice marketplace is highly desirable. Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to learn continuously and adapt to changing environments. Key Competencies: Strong commercial acumen with a consumer- and customer-focused approach. Ability to think clearly, concisely, and prioritise effectively. Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong organisational skills, including diary and administration management. A self-starter with initiative and the ability to drive results. Proficient in MS Office and curious about data and digital trends. Additional Information: Regular travel and occasional overnight stays are required. A full driving license is essential. Regular attendance at the Dublin office is expected.
