Meath County Council seeks a National Programme Manager for the Age Friendly Ireland Shared Service Office to lead the development of national shared services and support local Age Friendly Programmes across Ireland.
Job Description
The National Programme Manager will report directly to the Chief Officer of AFISSO and be responsible for:
- Fulfilling management responsibilities for the team-based framework of 31 local Age Friendly Programmes
- Deputising for the Chief Officer when required
- Supporting outward-facing institutional relationships of Age Friendly Ireland
- Providing strategic direction for the national shared service office in consultation with the Chief Officer

Meath County Council is the authority responsible for Local Government in County Meath, hosting the National Age Friendly Ireland Shared Service Office on behalf of the local government sector.
The Council is seeking a suitably qualified person to continue the development of the national shared service office and the support services it provides to local Age Friendly Programmes.
