Location: Lucena Clinic, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services Initial Base: Lucena Clinic has locations in Rathgar, Tallaght, Dun Laoghaire, Bray and Wicklow Town. The initial location of vacancies for January 2025 are still to be decided. Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service to defined catchment areas, with an under 18 population of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow. Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow. NON-CONSULTANT HOSPITAL DOCTOR(s) IN PSYCHIATRY (SHO(s) / REGISTRAR(s)) Fixed Term, Full-time contracts from JAN 2025 - JUL 2025 (possibility of extension) Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Lucena Clinic are now inviting applications for the post of Non-Consultant Doctors in Psychiatry (SHO and Registrar level). Role Summary This post will be in the area of child and adolescent mental health. You will be well supported by multidisciplinary colleagues. Minimum Requirements A degree in medicine is a basic requirement. All applicants must be currently registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC). At least 1 year's previous experience in psychiatry is essential. Experience of working in CAMHS is desirable. Experience of working in the Irish health care system is desirable. Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria with regard to immigration status, English language skills and the minimum educational entry criteria for the specialty and level as set out in the specification. Remuneration Salary Grade 1012 (Senior House Officer) and 1538 (Registrar) on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale: €52,614 - €78,748 per annum pro rata. Initial location Lucena Clinic has locations in Rathgar, Tallaght, Dun Laoghaire, Bray and Wicklow Town. The initial location of these vacancies are still to be decided. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
