Job Description
Summary: We are seeking a skilled.NET Developer to join our team, responsible for developing user-friendly interfaces and responsive applications, streamlining backend processes, and ensuring robust data security measures.
As a.NET Developer at TCS, you will be part of an exciting team where you will be challenged every day. You will work closely with the range of teams within the business to bring products to life, work with customers and identify opportunities to support their strategy and improve their processes across functions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using.NET & DB2/SQL Server/Oracle.
* Develop robust APIs to enable seamless data exchange and integration with emerging technologies and platforms.
* Work on ITSM tool and work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, QA testers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
* Own responsibility for L3 level requirement.
* Develop, maintain, and support operational documentation.
* Perform team leadership activities including mentoring Jr support technicians.
**Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:**
* Experience with development using Microsoft.NET technologies including.NET (Core or MVC framework), C#.NET/VB.NET.
* Hands-on experience in database design and development in DB2/SQL Server / Oracle.
* Experience with a variety of data feed types including JSON, XML, CSV and SOAP.
* Skilled at optimising/performance tuning of complicated SQL statements.
* Experience in creating and debugging DDL/DML, Stored Procedures, Functions for Microsoft SQL server /DB2 / Oracle.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Bitbucket, Git.
* Proficient understanding of CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Cloud Bees.
* Understanding of Agile methodologies.
**Good to Have:**
* Good communication skills.
* Flexible to work in shifts.
* Experience on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
* Core Java knowledge.
* Experience in building and enhancing Unix, Linux, Shell Scripts.
* Hands-on experience with DB2 LUW database administration concepts.
