**Software Test Engineer** **Job Summary** We are seeking a world-class Software Test Engineer to help design and execute system-level test cases for our next-generation network management system. Our commitment to excellence has earned us prestigious awards, including Best Engineering Team and Best Company for Diversity, Compensation, and Work-Life Balance. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and execute system-level test cases for our next-generation management system, involving scale and performance-related tests to observe how components behave in strenuous environments. • Collaborate with the development team to root-cause issues found, running experiments to prove/disprove theories, often using automation tools. • Write detailed bug reports that include a complete characterization of the system at the time of failure, describing the impact on customers. • Collaborate with the Technical Support team to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues reported by customers. • Have a strong passion for beautiful and intuitive user-interfaces (GUIs and APIs) that create a pleasurable user-experience (UX) for our customers. **Requirements** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 3+ years of experience or Master's degree in telecommunications, computer networking, or related field. • Experience in designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting IP and Ethernet networks. • Experience in 3 or more of the following networking protocols and technologies: + BGP + OSPF + ISIS + VRRP + LACP + STP + IP Multicast + ECMP + Port-Mirroring + QoS + VXLAN + MPLS + EVPN • Experience with Linux operating system and its popular technologies: + KVM + Docker + Kubernetes + Hadoop + Hbase • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or TCL. • Experience with provisioning and deployment frameworks (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is a plus.
