Network and Infrastructure IT Specialist Our Client is looking for an IT Specialist – Network and Infrastructure, to join their IT Department. This is a permanent multifunctional role, based in Meath, and a nice opportunity to gain excellent career experience in a well-established company. Responsibilities: Creating, prioritising, maintaining, and progressing roadmaps for network and / or server infrastructure Troubleshooting issues with network and / or server infrastructure Ensuring the network and / or server infrastructure is kept up to date with the latest security patches Ensuring that there are sufficient disaster recovery plans including backups to recover from an incident Monitoring the capacity of the network / server infrastructure to advise and implement upgrades as needed Providing technical expertise as part of project teams as and when needed to assess technical requirements and ensure appropriate resource planning Assisting End-Users with queries and issues Performing other related duties as required by your supervisor including relief for other members of the team Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline coupled with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is an advantage Experience working with Cisco or HPE network switches Experience working with Cisco Wireless platforms an advantage Familiarity with Virtualisation Environments (VMWare, Hyper V) Familiarity with managing Windows Servers Experience working in an IT Department Strong problem-solving capabilities Experience working in a fast-paced environment This role will be full time, Mon – Fri, 8am – 16.30pm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
