Network Engineer PFH is currently looking for a Network Engineer who will be involved in implementing, configuring, managing, and monitoring network solutions for one of our pharmaceutical clients based in Cork. Contract Length 12 months Location Ringaskiddy Co Cork - Fully Onsite The Role: Proactive support for all relevant network infrastructure components. Timely incident troubleshooting, escalation, and facilitation. Participation of infrastructure projects when required. Monitoring of network performance to include capacity, delay, reliability, maintainability, and availability. Implementation of mechanisms to configure, operate, manage, provision and account for business network resources and traffic patterns. Follow industry best practices, evaluate risk, manage upgrades and patching, and perform regular redundancy and resiliency tests within infrastructure. Contribute to technical and procedural documentation. The Requirements: 7-10 years of related Network Engineering and support experience. Experience with Cisco switching/routing protocols, firewalls, VPN, wireless, IPAM, DHCP, and DNS are required. Knowledge of GMP/GAMP standards is highly desirable. Excellent problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related subject is a plus. Must hold industry related certifications (i.e. CCNA).
