Network Engineer Contract | €350-€400/day | Dublin A client of mine is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 4 years of experience to join their team in Dublin. This role will focus on managing and maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to ongoing networking projects in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities: Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Troubleshoot network issues and resolve them promptly to maintain connectivity. Support VPNs, WAN, and LAN systems to ensure stable and secure communications. Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with security teams to ensure network security policies are enforced.Requirements: 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer. Proficiency with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and equipment (Cisco, Juniper). Strong experience with firewall configuration and management (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet). Hands-on experience with VPNs, WAN, and LAN systems. Knowledge of network security and encryption technologies. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Professional are preferred.
