Job Summary: Join one of the world's leading companies as a Network Engineer on a 12-month contract. Fully on-site work in Dublin is required. Several years of experience working with DWDM platforms are necessary.
- Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Skills:
- Expert knowledge of optical technologies
- Good working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of SNMP, TL1 or XML-based management protocols
- Knowledge of and experience with major DWDM platforms
- Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
- Experience with optical planning and modelling tools
- Experience with the rollout of large DWDM networks
- Knowledge of optic fibre cable specifications (external and internal)
Benefits: Contract position with daily rates based on experience. Work can be done from home.
