Join one of the world's leading companies as a Network Engineer, requiring fully on-site work in Dublin. Several years' experience working on DWDM platforms is necessary.
Key requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, expert knowledge of optical technologies, and good working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals.
Key skills:
- Expert knowledge of optical technologies
- Good working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of SNMP, TL1 or XML-based management protocols
- Knowledge of and experience with major DWDM platforms
- Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
- Experience with optical planning and modelling tools
- Experience with the rollout of large DWDM networks
- Experience with optic fibre cable specifications (external and internal)
