Network Firewall Security Engineer Job In Dublin

A Firewall Security Engineer is sought to govern, manage, and review Firewall operations within the Infrastructure Operations team.

**Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Firewall Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for: • Governance and control of Firewall estate operations • Working with vendors to ensure estate currency and vulnerability remediation • Overseeing changes to Firewall hardware • Identifying and logging/remediation of Risk in line with BOI Risk Management process • Reviewing requests for change and translating business requirements into technical specifications • Analyzing, documenting, and certifying the current Firewall rule base • Ensuring pre-existing rules align with updated BOI Security Standards • Developing and monitoring operational metrics **Requirements** The successful candidate will have: • Good knowledge of Enterprise Network infrastructure • Experience operating multi-vendor Firewall technologies • Administration experience of Firewall compliance tooling • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to lead, inspire change, and manage on one's own initiative **Desirable Qualifications** • Experience with Forcepoint Web security or other Proxy experience • CISCO/Comp TIA and Firewall Vendor Certification **About the Team** Infrastructure Operations is part of Technology Services, responsible for the IT Infrastructure that supports all aspects of the Group's business. **Company Culture** We prioritize work-life balance with flexible working, 23 days annual leave, and excellent pension contributions.
