Our client is seeking a skilled Network Operation Engineer for a 12-month onsite PAYE contract to join their team in Dublin 4. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of their WAN network. This position involves close collaboration with suppliers, troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining network equipment. Duration: 12- Months Location: Dublin 4, onsite Job Reference: BBBH 25585 Visa Sponsorship: No Responsibilities: Proactively monitor network performance and identify potential issues. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve circuit quality issues and implement improvement plans. Conduct on-site network inspections as required. Participate in troubleshooting major network faults. Maintain in-depth knowledge of network equipment and technologies. Contribute to network optimization and performance improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has: 1+ years’ experience in network engineering. Understanding of datacom or transmission, such as BGP, OSPF, or ISIS. CCNA or CCNP certificate is preferred. Familiarity with relevant network equipment, such as OSN9800, OSN1800, OSN8800, NE40E, CE12800, etc. Must have operational experience with local carriers.
