Network Production Engineer role involves designing, building, and maintaining large-scale networks to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you'll work on complex network issues, develop automation systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
As a Network Production Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Building experience with Backbone, Data Center, and Network Infrastructure Engineering teams
- Designing and deploying new network architectures
- Developing automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events
- Analyzing data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical discussions
- Maintaining consistency within the network infrastructure
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Experience with computer networks, UNIX, TCP/IP, and network fundamentals
- Experience coding in at least one language (Python, Golang, Rust, or C++)
- Ability to learn new concepts around network design and management
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of Switching and Routing concepts and implementation
- Knowledge of routing protocols BGP, OSPF, and ISIS
- Knowledge of tunneling protocols MPLS, GRE, and IPnIP
