eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Network Security Engineer. This is a Day Rate Contractposition located with our client in Dublin. This is a hybrid role,the initial duration of the contract is 6 months with possible extensions. We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer/Administrator with a strong background in network security to enhance the network security of our client's network serving approximately 2,500 users across multiple sites. This is a project-based role, ideal for a self-motivated professional with the ability to collaborate effectively with various application stakeholders and the IT team. Responsibilities: Implement network security enhancements in line with best practices. Manage and configure firewalls (Palo Alto and/or Fortinet). Oversee L2 and L3 networking operations. Ensure effective Network Access Control and network segmentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT/OT co-existence. Report regularly to the Group CISO on project status and security posture. Requirements: Minimum 6 years of experience in networking or a related field. Strong expertise in firewalls (Palo Alto and/or Fortinet). Proficient in L2 and L3 networking concepts. Familiarity with Network Access Control and segmentation best practices. Experience with IT/OT co-existence is a plus. Relevant educational background and certifications in networking and security. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
