In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our client's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with firewall configurations, VPNs, and security monitoring tools, and will be adept at identifying and mitigating security threats.Network Security Engineer Responsibilities:Implement and manage security measures across network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure network integrity.Monitor and analyze network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.Collaborate with IT teams to design and enforce network security policies.Respond to and manage network security incidents, ensuring timely resolution.Requirements:5+ years of experience in network security engineering.Strong expertise in configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto).Experience with VPN technologies and secure network design.Proficient in network monitoring and security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Snort, Splunk).Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.If you're passionate about network security and looking to take on a challenging role, please reach out to Jamie McCaul at Reperio Human Capital to start a conversation today. #J-18808-Ljbffr
