Cloud Support Engineer
Amazon Web Services is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to assist a global list of companies and developers in leveraging the company's growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and use groundbreaking technologies to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.
- Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues.
- Drive customer communication during critical events and projects that improve support-related processes and customers' technical support experience.
- Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in troubleshooting networking issues using several tools.
- Advanced knowledge/experience of network security, DNS security, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking and troubleshooting, including HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing and Switching, Load Balancing.
- Good command of associated technologies for monitoring IT services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in configuring virtual server environments and software-based Load Balancing solutions.
- Knowledge in managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
- Understanding of security best practices and distributed computing environments and methodologies.
