Job Summary: Cloud Support Engineer

Provide technical support to customers using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud products, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, and collaborating with internal teams to improve support processes.

About the Role

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues with AWS services
  • Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Develop and present training to new hires and customers
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new tools and scripts

The AWS Support team is responsible for providing world-class support to customers using AWS cloud products. We are a team of passionate and knowledgeable individuals who are dedicated to helping customers succeed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting networking issues using various tools
  • Knowledge of network security, domain transfers, and DNS security
  • Operating system knowledge oriented to maintenance and administrative purposes
  • Networking and troubleshooting knowledge (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing and Switching, Load Balancing)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in configuring virtual server environments and supporting devices
  • Knowledge with end-to-end application monitoring, tracing, and alerting using tools like Cloud Watch, Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus
