About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager to join our team at Tuath Housing Association. As a key member of our New Business and Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in driving the expansion of our housing supply through new development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement Tuath's development programme, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local residents, tenants, and councillors.
  • Identify, promote, and secure new acquisition, management, and development opportunities in line with our development strategy.
  • Operate with good commercial and financial acumen, negotiating and liaising effectively with potential clients.
  • Manage the New Business team to deliver projects in a timely and efficient manner, meeting personal and team targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the property sector, with a focus on development and management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience of managing staff and prioritising to optimise performance of a team.
