Job Description
Experienced Newly Qualified Accountant sought to support continued growth of a well-established accountancy practice operating across Munster, Leinster and the midlands.
The company caters for MNC's and SME's across construction, engineering and technology, and has grown from strength to strength.
Newly Qualified Accountant
This role will report directly into the Partner and is responsible for:
- Bank and Cash Reconciliations
- Invoice processing
- Monthly creditor reconciliations (Accounts Payable)
- Issuing supplier payments and processing of same
- Preparing and processing journals based on various templates and cloud based data feeds
- Debtors reconciliations
- Weekly reporting to clients highlighting key performance indicators
- Preparing cash flows and historical cash utilisation analysis
- Filing and calculation of periodic statutory returns with Irish Revenue Commissioners and UK Revenue Commissioners
- Assisting account manager with preparation of quarterly management accounts
- Preparation of year end financial statements and relevant filings
- Preparation of year end audit and audit exempt files
Key qualifications include:
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Newly qualified or up to 2 years PQE
- Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised approach to work with strong time management skills
