CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a Newly Qualified Accountant to join a pioneering renewable energy company dedicated to providing innovative solar energy solutions based in Shannon, Co. Clare. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant looking to take the next steps in their career. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with departmental heads to gather and analyse financial data. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide insights to management for informed decision-making. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information. Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency. Prepare and assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as required. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting systems. Provide financial insights and support to cross-functional teams as needed. Qualifications: Newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent). Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and develop.
