Highly successful manufacturing organisation seeks newly qualified Accountant to gain exposure across all areas of finance with plenty of scope for progression.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to develop skills and expertise in financial analysis, cash management, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis and reporting on variances
- Cash management and forecasting across multiple currencies
- Monthly accounts preparation to set deadlines
- Prepare and submit year-end accounts for review by Finance manager
- Posting journals and completing bank reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance and best practice in line with company policy
- Point of contact for auditors and responsible for managing the audit process
- Support and mentor junior finance staff as required
Experience:
- Qualified accountant with minimum 1 year post-qualified experience
- Proficient IT skills with advanced level MS Excel
- Ability to analyse financial information and work to set deadlines
- Ambitious with a desire to progress
- Fluency in English required along with excellent communication skills
