Job Description
Summary: Join a successful manufacturing organisation as a newly qualified Accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager and gaining exposure across all areas of finance with scope for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis and reporting on variances
- Cash management and forecasting across multiple currencies
- Monthly accounts preparation to set deadlines
- Prepare and submit year-end accounts for review by Finance manager
- Posting journals and completing bank reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance and best practice in line with company policy
- Point of contact for auditors and managing the audit process
- Support and mentor junior finance staff as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with minimum 1 year post-qualified experience
- Proficient IT skills with advanced level MS Excel
- Ability to analyse financial information and work to set deadlines
- Ambitious with a desire to progress
- Fluency in English required along with excellent communication skills
