We are seeking a highly motivated Newly Qualified Tax Accountant to join a leading aviation global multinational in Shannon and support the Tax Manager in managing global tax compliance and strategic tax planning for our group. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of tax areas, including Corporation Tax, VAT, and international tax planning, while also providing critical analysis on emerging tax developments and jurisdictional tax exposure. This position is ideal for any newly qualified 0 2 years PQE that is making their first move from practice into industry since qualifying. Role Overview We are looking for a dedicated tax professional to support our tax function in managing reporting, compliance, and strategic tax matters for Shannons leading aviation company and its subsidiaries. In this role, you will collaborate with business teams on tax-related aspects of leasing, purchasing, and selling aircraft engines, while addressing complex international tax issues, such as double tax treaties and withholding taxes. You will also assist in tax accounting, managing audits, working with external tax advisors, and ensuring compliance with global transfer pricing policies. Additionally, youll be the key point of contact for ensuring our subsidiaries meet local tax laws. Your Profile Were on the lookout for a detail-oriented tax professional with a bachelors degree and a qualification from the Institute of Taxation in Ireland or an equivalent international tax body, along with at least a year of relevant tax experience.
