Job Description

The Trinity City Hotel is currently recruiting for a key role to lead its night team and its seeking a Night Manager.

This is a unique opportunity to join this high-profile company and support the hotel management.


You will be responsible for ensuring we always offer our guests consistently high standards throughout the hotel as well as ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the Hotel during night shifts.


You will be leading a team of 6 people ensuring that agreed standards of service, security, and cleanliness are being followed.


The Trinity Hotel is part of the MHL Hotel Collection which is the second largest hotel group in Dublin city with over 1,150 bedrooms across well-known 5 & 4 star brands as well as a number of unique and individual hotels in key city locations throughout Ireland.

Main duties include:

Ensure the smooth running of the reception desk in line with standard of performance during night shift and maintain a high level of guest service.

Ensure a detailed pass over is given to early reception shift.

Responsible for general health & safety during nights.

Ensure any monetary services are charged and posted correctly.

To manage the Nights team in order to encourage them and keep operations aligned to company's goals.

Ensure any set-ups are properly arranged.

The ideal candidates will possess the following: 2-3 years experience in Hotel Night Operations or Management role.

Knowledge and understanding of the Reception and/or Food & Beverage operations.

Opera and computer skills knowledge.

People leadership & organisational skills.

Hospitality background is essential.

Passion for providing great customer service.

Fluent in both written and spoken English.
